Project notes

What the archive shows.

Built for the shoreline.

The crew demolished the old 3,000-square-foot deck and removed the material in five 30-yard dumpsters.

The new foundation uses 46 concrete footings sized 24 × 36. Eight helical posts near the lake reach between 14 and 21 feet deep.

The crew installed ledger flashing and pressure-treated sill plates, then used more than 600 lag bolts to assemble the beams. Every post and beam is set.

The project remains in progress while the crew prepares for the railing phase.
